During the entire month of December (December 1 - 25 to be exact), The Writer's Life will be celebrating the holidays in a big way. Throughout the month, we will be publishing fictional and nonfictional stories by you! And here's the kicker. If your story receives the most comments by midnight December 25, we will send you a $25 Amazon Gift Card!

Here are the guidelines:

Open to all writers - published or not.
Your story may be fiction or non-fiction.
Your story may be published elsewhere and you retain all rights. You grant us one time publishing on The Writer's Life.
Your url and bio will be included with your blog post to bring more traffic to your website or blog, so don't forget to add it to your bio at the bottom of your story.
Your story MUST have a title.
Word count - no longer than 800 words, please. The shorter, the better.
You will be contacted when your story is live on our site.
We are not editing, what you send is what I publish.

Oh yes, and there is a prize! The guest blogger with the most comments will win a $25 gift certificate from Amazon and will be announced on January 1.
