The Writer's Life: Welcome to The Writer's Life, Judi! Can you tell us when your passion for writing began?

Judi: My passion for writing began as a child. I have written columns for newspapers around the world as well as short stories and self-help articles.

The Writer's Life: Can you tell us what your typical 'writing' day is like?

Judi: A typical writing day is 4 to 5 hours and when there's a deadline, it increases to 8 to 10 hours.

The Writer's Life: Do you write full time?

Judi: I speak as a profession. I write as a passion.

The Writer's Life: Can you tell us a little bit about your book?

Judi: You Are More Than Enough is a self awareness book which is a motivating guide to
success. The book discusses how to recognize and release the fears that are keeping you from finding your purpose, turn your thughts, hopes and ideas into action, motivate yourself to set powerful goals and passionately achieve them.

The Writer's Life: Who published your book and how has your experience with them been?

Judi: You Are More Than Enough was published by Stephens Press. They have been wonderful to work with. The book is a quality product with a self bookmark of blue ribbon with a gold star attached. This was the publisher's doing.

The Writer's Life: Can you tell us the inspiration behind your book?

Judi: As I traveled around the world speaking to groups of 50 to 3000 people, I would ask if
people thought they should be successful by now. More than 3/4 of the audience raised their hands every time.

The Writer's Life: Can you tell us ways you are promoting your book? Have they been

Judi: Back of the room sales. Presell before a presentation. Word of mouth. All have proven successful.

The Writer's Life: Do you have a mentor?

Judi: Several.

The Writer's Life: What future projects do you have in the works?

Judi: The companion Achievement Journal to "You are More Than Enough".

The Writer's Life: Can you give aspiring authors words of advice towards getting published?

Judi: Write as often as possible. Write every day. Attend Writers Conferences. Show your work to every publisher there.

The Writer's Life: What’s one thing about your life that you think is important, but nobody asks?

Judi: I must know a bunch of snoopy people. Usually they ask more than I want them to know.
