ABOUT CARRIEANNE FONGER

Carrieanne Fonger BA, M.MT  is a Metaphysical Teacher, Author and Spiritual Guide.

She began her studies in Metaphysics as a young child and as a result has over thirty-five years experience reading energy and exploring the mind. Her training includes Mastery in Usui and Karuna Reiki, Feng Shui and Remote Viewing. Carrieanne has a Diploma in Broadcasting, a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History and a Master’s Degree in Metaphysical Theology.

Carrieanne teaches the art of Metaphysics and Mental Mastery to empower individuals with the tools of inner guidance. Her vision is to bring conscious awareness to individuals in pursuit of their best life, show them how to embrace their gifts and share their passion, purpose and meaning with the world.

Carrieanne is the creator and founder of the Master Your Mind™ program and is the author of an award winning autobiography titled:  Enlightenment: One Woman’s Journey As An Extra-Sensory Human (2009). Her latest book is titled: Illumination: Spiritual Emergence and the Evolution of the Soul (2012).

Q: Welcome to The Writer's Life, Carrieanne.  Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how long you’ve been writing?

A:  I’m a Metaphysical Teacher and Spiritual Guide. Reading is my hobby and writing is my passion. I’ve been writing since I was a child.

Q: Can you please tell us about your book and why you wrote it?

A: My book Illumination: Spiritual Emergence and the Evolution of the Soul, is about the journey of change and transformation that everyone goes through to become a more aware person. I wrote it to assist my clients and students as they go through this process.

Q: What were some of the biggest challenges you faced writing it?

A: Making the message simple and easy to understand was the biggest challenge. It was really important for me to get the information across in a straight-forward way that would benefit readers.

Q: Do you have a press kit and what do you include in it?  Does this press kit appear online and, if so, can you provide a link to where we can see it?

A: Do not have press kit.

Q: Have you either spoken to groups of people about your book or appeared on radio or TV?  What are your upcoming plans for doing so?

A: I speak to groups of people regularly about my books. Have not yet appeared on radio or TV, have just begun the first part of a year long promotion. Traveling for speaking engagements is at the top of my list for the next six months or so.

Q: Do you have an agent and, if so, would you mind sharing who he/is is?  If not, have you ever had an agent or do you even feel it’s necessary to have one?

A: Yes I do have an agent, Anne Bougie with Fourth Floor Press. She has been one of my greatest assets in my writing career.

Q: Did you, your agent or publisher prepare a media blitz before the book came out and would you like to tell us about it?

A: Yes, we did book giveaways, contests and a blitz on Facebook and Twitter. It was very successful in getting the word out.

Q: Do you plan subsequent books?

A: Yes, I’m working on my third book now.
